Are you a fan of computer games? Interestingly, did you know when they first released, they were referred to as video games, not computer games, because personal computers were not as common as they are today! Have you ever wondered about the origins of popular games like Super Mario? Why is it so funny looking? Why is the game so enjoyable?
Let's discover the history of video games and learn what game design is all about. We will spend the morning using cardboard, constructing our own play station. Complete with a cool poster to market our product.
Your clever lab tutor will guide you and help you create your video game with impressive new coding skills. The best part about it is the game actually works! Your friends and families can participate in your fantastic game designed by you!
This full-day program includes an early drop-off from 8.15am onwards. Your morning program will start at 9.30am with a fun art project. In the afternoon, you will work on lab projects. You can choose between getting picked up at 3 or working on a Minecraft project, playing board games and doing drawings.
Your afternoon project will end at 3pm. The latest pickup time is 4.30pm. All sessions include the use of lab gear and art & craft supplies.
