Animals are not only wonderful friends; they are also inspiring in how they move, adapt, and solve problems! In Lab 201: Paws, Gears, and Curiosity*, we’ll explore the science behind our furry companions through hands-on STEM activities that help us discover how animals do what they do. This companion course to *My Pawsome Friends* will guide students aged 5 to 7 on an exciting journey into the world of engineering, biology, and problem-solving—with a little help from our animal friends!
Each week, we’ll investigate a different STEM concept inspired by animals. From building simple machines that mimic the movements of animals to exploring habitats and how animals stay safe, each lesson will be filled with opportunities to ask questions, experiment, and make discoveries. Let’s learn how to think like an engineer and solve problems just like our animal buddies do in the wild!
