You've seen those products, glistening under the spotlight in stores, on the shelves, so desirable. But have you ever thought about how they came to be? From a designer's mind to the shiny finished product on the shelf? Welcome to the exciting challenge in this module, where we combine your brilliant imagination, creative sketching skills, technology, and engineering to invent and create products.

Specifically designed for students aged 8 to 14, this course will teach you how to sketch ideas and refine them throughout the product creation journey.

You will start by learning the basic principles of product design and develop sketching skills. You will also get hands-on experience designing your own 3D structures on the computer, transforming ideas into tangible products. You will soon realise how amazing it is to combine art, science, engineering, and creativity to invent and play!

This learning journey is perfect for independent young minds eager to explore more. Each 60-minute session is packed with exciting new content and opportunities to explore beyond the lesson. Parents do not need to attend. Full-term enrolment provides complete access to all course content. Please note that materials are not included, so bring your own sketch set. Starter packs can be purchased online or at the Studio.

As each session is uniquely developed for each individual student to achieve and progress. You will work with diverse mediums. All supplies are included.

All learning materials are available for students enrolled full term via the Studio website. Please login and click on 'My' to locate your sessions.

If you feel sick, please stay home and apply a catch-up lesson at a later time. Or, if you feel well enough, please join your session online via our app or this website. Regrettably, we can only provide catch-up lessons within your enrolled term based on availability. Any unused credit cannot be carried over to the following term.

For the fairness of the other students, for our clever tutors who provide the lessons that you love, the studio cannot offer a refund if you change your mind. Our in-studio workshops are strictly made up of the limited number of students enrolled before the start of each school term and have the appropriate resources allocated to accommodate the optimal learning experience for all students in the course. To ensure the staff and supplies can be maintained for the course, payment for their use cannot be refunded so that the remaining students may continue the learning and development they paid for. In the event of Covid-19 restrictions, workshops will resume online. No refund can be issued if you decide not to participate in online sessions.

If you are joining the workshop in person, just bring your lovely self! Please bring your own art pack for Clever Canvas™, Sketchbook Challenge™ and Super Matisse™ lessons. If you are joining online, great! Ensure your device is fully charged, and check with your tutor beforehand about what supplies you may need to prepare.
