   You are welcome to book private lessons with your art tutors, though this is entirely optional. 
  Parents are not allowed to be in these sessions.

AJ Studio invites currently enrolled students aged 5 to 17 to participate in an international competition hosted by the Dega International Art Association in the United States.

Attendance at ALL 3 sessions is required to draft and troubleshoot any conceptual and technical issues with your tutors. Additionally, you will need to dedicate between 5 and 10 hours of your own time to complete your pieces at home.

The compulsory session dates are 14th, 21st, and 28th August, from 4pm to 6:30 pm.
You are welcome to book private lessons with your art tutors, though this is entirely optional.
There is no application fee; however, if selected as a winner, you will need to post your artwork to the United States at your own expense. The final winning artwork will be displayed at Degallery from November to January.

The submission deadline is 1st September.
Due to the nature of the competition, we kindly ask that you discuss goals with your child before committing to these sessions. Whether the aim is to do their very best or to secure a place, we encourage all parents to remain positive and supportive throughout the process to ensure a rewarding and enjoyable learning experience for their children.

1  What is the purpose of the Creative Alliance™?
The purpose of The Creative Alliance™ is to provide students with the experience of working as artists and designers under a brief and within a limited time frame. It’s designed to help students enjoy learning art in a competitive setting, where they can gain confidence, resilience, and new skills, while also troubleshooting challenges that arise during the creative process.
2  Who can join the The Creative Alliance™?
The Creative Alliance™ 2024 Competition Squad is open to currently enrolled students at AJ Studio aged 5 to 17.
3  What are the dates and times of the compulsory sessions?
The compulsory sessions will be held on the 14th, 21st, and 28th of August, from 4 pm to 6:30 pm. Attendance at all three sessions is mandatory.
4 Do I need to work on my artwork outside of the scheduled sessions?
Yes, in addition to attending the scheduled sessions, you are required to dedicate between 5 and 10 hours of your own time to complete your artwork at home, depends on your speed, skill level and the difficulty level of your piece.
Can I book private lessons with my art tutors?
Yes, private lessons are available for booking; however, they are entirely optional.
6 What happens if we miss a session?
Attendance at all 3 sessions is mandatory to ensure that each participant receives the full benefit of the program. However, if you miss a session, you can catch up by booking a private lesson with your tutor.
7 What is the deadline for submitting my artwork?
The deadline to submit your artwork for the competition is the 1st of September. Please note that submission is the student’s own responsibility. Failure to submit on time is not the responsibility of the tutor or the studio. Fees cannot be refunded, nor will there be any means of redemption, as we are not affiliated with the competition in any way.
8 How can I support my child throughout the competition process?
We encourage all parents to remain positive, supportive, and encouraging throughout the competition process. This will help ensure that your child has a rewarding and enjoyable learning experience.
9 Is there an application fee to participate in the competition?
There is no application fee to enter the competition. However, if your artwork is selected as a winner, you will be responsible for posting it to the United States at your own expense.
10 What happens if my artwork is selected as a winner?
If your artwork is selected as a winner, it will be displayed at Degallery in the United States from November to January. You will need to arrange for the shipping of your artwork to the U.S. at your own cost.
11 Is there a limit on how many students can join The Creative Alliance™?
Space may be limited, so we recommend registering early to secure your spot in The Creative Alliance™.
12 What should my child bring to the sessions?
Students should bring their art materials, any preliminary sketches or ideas, and a positive attitude ready to collaborate and create.
