The Creative Alliance™
The purpose of The Creative Alliance™ is to provide students with the experience of working as artists and designers under a brief and within a limited time frame. It’s designed to help students enjoy learning art in a competitive setting, where they can gain confidence, resilience, and new skills, while also troubleshooting challenges that arise during the creative process.
The Creative Alliance™ 2024 Competition Squad is open to currently enrolled students at AJ Studio aged 5 to 17.
The compulsory sessions will be held on the 14th, 21st, and 28th of August, from 4 pm to 6:30 pm. Attendance at all three sessions is mandatory.
Yes, in addition to attending the scheduled sessions, you are required to dedicate between 5 and 10 hours of your own time to complete your artwork at home, depends on your speed, skill level and the difficulty level of your piece.
Yes, private lessons are available for booking; however, they are entirely optional.
Attendance at all 3 sessions is mandatory to ensure that each participant receives the full benefit of the program. However, if you miss a session, you can catch up by booking a private lesson with your tutor.
The deadline to submit your artwork for the competition is the 1st of September. Please note that submission is the student’s own responsibility. Failure to submit on time is not the responsibility of the tutor or the studio. Fees cannot be refunded, nor will there be any means of redemption, as we are not affiliated with the competition in any way.
We encourage all parents to remain positive, supportive, and encouraging throughout the competition process. This will help ensure that your child has a rewarding and enjoyable learning experience.
There is no application fee to enter the competition. However, if your artwork is selected as a winner, you will be responsible for posting it to the United States at your own expense.
If your artwork is selected as a winner, it will be displayed at Degallery in the United States from November to January. You will need to arrange for the shipping of your artwork to the U.S. at your own cost.
Space may be limited, so we recommend registering early to secure your spot in The Creative Alliance™.
Students should bring their art materials, any preliminary sketches or ideas, and a positive attitude ready to collaborate and create.
