Did you know forts have been around for thousands of years? They weren’t just for fun — forts were built to protect, defend, and sometimes even hide treasure! In this exciting day, you’ll discover the amazing history behind forts from around the world.
In the morning, you’ll create a masterpiece by painting your own fort design, imagining what it would look like if you were in charge of defending your own castle! Then, in the afternoon, we’ll switch gears and dive into coding. Using Scratch, you’ll create your own interactive fort project, learning how to bring your ideas to life with code. By the end of the day, you’ll know all about the real-life role forts played in history, and you’ll get to mix your creativity with tech skills. Ready to build and protect?
The program includes an early drop-off option at 8:15 am and an engaging art project at 9:30 am. In the afternoon, you'll work on lab projects.
