Who knew a simple sheet of paper could soar through the air like a real aeroplane? In this fun and educational day, you’ll explore both the creative and scientific sides of paper aeroplanes.
In the morning, we’ll create a painting inspired by the motion and beauty of flight. Then, in the afternoon, it’s all about experimentation. We’ll dive into the engineering behind different paper aeroplane designs, trying out various folding techniques to see which flies the furthest, the fastest, or stays in the air the longest. Whether you’re a first-time folder or a paper aeroplane pro, you’ll learn the secrets behind aerodynamics and how small changes can have a big impact. Ready to test your engineering skills? Let’s get folding and flying!
The program offers an early drop-off option starting from 8:15 a.m. The morning session begins at 9:30 a.m., where you can engage in a fun art project. After lunch, you will participate in lab projects. At the end of the day, you can either get picked up at 3:00 p.m. or spend your time on a Minecraft project, board games or drawings. Please note that the latest pickup time is 4:30 p.m. All the sessions provide the necessary lab gear and art supplies for the activities.
