Step into the enchanting world of stories and imagination inspired by Jane Austen, an extraordinary author who turned ordinary moments into timeless tales. In the morning Art Atelier™, you’ll design your very own “window to imagination”, creating a beautiful scene that brings your ideas, dreams, or a story to life—just like Jane Austen did with her words. Whether it’s a cosy garden, an inspiring desk, or a magical world, your window will be a snapshot of your inner storyteller.
In the afternoon Lab™, you’ll take your storytelling digital, using Scratch to code an interactive narrative. You’ll bring your characters and ideas to life with simple animations, movements, and words, making your story unfold right on screen.
The program runs from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with flexibility for students to arrive between 8:15 and 9:30 AM and be picked up anytime between 3:00 and 4:30 PM. Early arrivals can enjoy free play with Lego, drawing, and games to ease into the day. After 3:00 PM, students can unwind with a range of activities including movies, Minecraft, Lego, or even creating more art—ensuring a fun and relaxed end to their day while giving parents peace of mind. By the end of the day, you’ll have a crafted “story window” and your own digital interactive tale—proof that even the simplest ideas can become something extraordinary.
