Some things are hard to ignore… even if no one wants to talk about them.
In this one-day holiday workshop, we’ll explore the idea of the “elephant in the room” — and imagine what happens when that elephant is real, enormous, and awkwardly standing right there. Maybe it’s at a birthday party. A school assembly. A rocket launch. Wherever it turns up, things are about to get interesting.
We’ll create a richly detailed painting of a room filled with characters, clues, and one very unexpected guest. Through expressions, body language, and quiet storytelling, we’ll explore how much you can say without saying anything at all. Then in the afternoon, we’ll jump into Scratch to code a playful animation or game where the elephant finally does something — speaks up, causes chaos, or reveals the truth we’ve all been avoiding.
This is a day for deep thinkers, visual storytellers, and anyone who’s ever noticed something… and wondered if anyone else had.
The programme runs from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with drop-off from 8:15 AM and pick-up until 4:30 PM. We begin the day with calm play and wind down after 3:00 PM with art, games, or a short film.
Whether you're an early bird or an afternoon explorer, we've got you covered! select am or pm sessions to book- it's that simple!
