You have heard about it, you have seen it in videos, and you have probably discussed it at school, the idea of change. Yet the very word can feel unsettling. And when it is change for our planet, it feels even bigger. So what does that have to do with painting?
In this module we use the timeless craft of oil painting to explore how artists can reflect on society, imagine the future, and offer commentary on the world we share. Yes, you will learn brushstrokes and colour mixing, how to draw, and how to paint. But what matters even more is that through this vehicle we are taking young thinkers to a higher level, building mastery in technique while also learning to use art as a language of ideas.
The goal is not just to be creative for its own sake but to begin shaping the mindset of thought leaders, artists who can comment on society and raise important questions. Students will come to see how patience, focus, and vision in painting can mirror the very skills needed to engage with the bigger conversations of our time. This course is designed for curious learners who are ready to move beyond colouring and copying, students who want to challenge themselves with a demanding medium and discover the power of their own artistic voice.
By the end of this module, each canvas will hold a painted future, a vision of tomorrow created with skill, imagination, and purpose.
