Making Space for Brave, Imperfect, Cross-Disciplinary Thinkers
AI can write. AI can draw. AI can even summarise a textbook faster than we can flip to the contents page.
So where does that leave us?

What hasn’t changed, and maybe never will, is how fast we learn.
Not how quickly we get answers, but how well we connect ideas, make meaning, and build something new from what we’ve learned.
Learning faster doesn’t mean learning more facts.
Learning faster doesn’t mean learning more facts.
It means learning in a way that allows us to apply, reapply, test, analyse, and express. That kind of learning doesn’t happen in single subjects, it happens when we think across them.
It happens through interdisciplinary thinking, when art meets science, when coding meets storytelling, when design meets history, when problems meet opportunity, and most importantly, when fearless thinking meets a space that welcomes it.
At AJ Studio, that’s been our founding belief from day one. Over ten years ago, we began with a question:
What would happen if children didn’t have to choose between creativity and thinking? What if we assumed they were already operating at a genius level, just waiting to be challenged in the right way?
Since then, every programme we’ve designed has centred on one idea: Children learn best when they explore one idea from many directions.

When a project doesn’t just teach a skill, but teaches how to think, how to enjoy the process of exploring, and how to take pride in imperfection.
That’s why our holiday programme is written like a day of real learning. Not just a pile of fun activities, but one big idea explored through art, design, science, and technology.
In the morning, we might design a piggy bank that sorts coins. In the afternoon, we might code a game that helps you grow your savings. Same idea, different angles. That’s how real learning sticks.
We’re not here to teach kids everything. We’re here to help them learn faster, because they understand deeper, connect wider, and create more meaningfully. And above all, because they’re encouraged to be imperfect, brave thinkers.
Come spend a day (or a week) with us this holiday. You might be surprised by what a “holiday programme” can really be.
