  • 0815 - 0930 Early arrival: Free play (Lego, drawing, board games)
  • 0930 Art Atelier™: Creating your pet rock with paint, googly eyes, and fun details
  • 1030 Morning Tea
  • 1045 Art Atelier™: Designing and crafting a cosy home or habitat for your pet rock
  • 1200 Lunch
  • 1300 Lab™: Creating a care guide for your pet rock and adding finishing touches to its home
  • 1500 Lab program ends, parents can pick up kids anytime between 3-4.30pm.
  • 1500-1600 Free play and pick-up window (Minecraft, board games, drawing)
  • 1600 - 1630 Movie time
    Late pick-up fee: $25 per 15 minutes after 4:30 PM
Full Day 

Get ready for a day of fun, creativity, and imagination at AJ Studio’s Annual Pet Rock Day! In the morning Art Atelier™, you’ll choose a rock and transform it into a one-of-a-kind pet with paint, googly eyes, and creative details—will it be a cute critter, a fierce monster, or even a rock-star hero? You’ll also design a cosy home or habitat for your new friend, making sure they’re ready for their exciting new life.


In the afternoon Lab™, you’ll craft a complete instruction guide for taking care of your pet rock, from feeding tips to playtime routines. You’ll then add finishing touches to your rock’s home, ensuring it’s the perfect place for your new companion to live and play.


You can arrive between 8:15 and 9:30 AM to ease into the day with Lego, drawing, and games. Pick-up is available until 4:30 PM, with plenty of choices like Minecraft, movies, or more art. By the end of the day, you’ll have a hand-crafted pet rock, a cosy home, and an instruction guide—proof that even the simplest rocks can become the best of companions!

Frequently asked questions
1 What happens if I miss a class?
If you feel sick, please stay home and apply a catch-up lesson at a later time. Or, if you feel well enough, please join your session online via our app or this website. Regrettably, we can only provide catch-up lessons within your enrolled term based on availability. Any unused credit cannot be carried over to the following term.
2 What's your refund policy in a nutshell?
For the fairness of the other students, for our clever tutors who provide the lessons that you love, the studio cannot offer a refund if you change your mind. Our in-studio workshops are strictly made up of the limited number of students enrolled before the start of each school term and have the appropriate resources allocated to accommodate the optimal learning experience for all students in the course. To ensure the staff and supplies can be maintained for the course, payment for their use cannot be refunded so that the remaining students may continue the learning and development they paid for. In the event of Covid-19 restrictions, workshops will resume online. No refund can be issued if you decide not to participate in online sessions.
3 What do I need to bring to class?
If you are joining the workshop in person, just bring your lovely self! Please bring your own art pack for Clever Canvas™, Sketchbook Challenge™ and Super Matisse™ lessons. If you are joining online, great! Ensure your device is fully charged, and check with your tutor beforehand about what supplies you may need to prepare.
4 Which class should I join?
Choosing a class that suits your age group would be a great way to start. Your tutor will advise you if moving up or down a level may be more beneficial for your child. Check out the 'Find My Workshop' page for more details.
