✨ Join The Curiosity Lab™, a bespoke STEAM learning experience powered by AJ Studio, designed to fuel your daughter’s curiosity, creativity, and confidence through hands-on exploration, tech, and art projects.

This unique afterschool club blends science, engineering, and creativity to inspire brave thinkers and problem solvers. Through experimentation, collaboration, and innovation, we empower students to design, build, and lead with creativity.

What day and time does The Curiosity Lab™ run?
Sessions are held on Thursdays from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM at St Cuthbert’s College Junior School. Students meet at the PLC Room at 3:00 PM.
2 What happens during the session?
Students have afternoon tea and homework time from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM. The main session begins at 3:30 PM and runs until 5:30 PM. Parents are welcome to observe from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM during the open classroom time.
What will my child learn?
The Curiosity Lab™ follows a bespoke STEAM curriculum designed by AJ Studio. Students engage in structured, hands-on learning experiences that blend art, design, and technology to foster problem-solving, experimentation, and creativity.
How is this programme different from AJ Studio’s regular workshops?
The Curiosity Lab™ at St Cuthbert’s College and AJ Studio’s workshops follow entirely different lesson content. While both focus on STEAM learning, The Curiosity Lab™ is designed as a bespoke, interdisciplinary programme that blends lab-based experimentation with artistic exploration, exclusive to St Cuthbert’s students. AJ Studio’s regular workshops are subject-specific and progressive, while The Curiosity Lab™ offers a unique fusion of science, technology, and creativity in a structured after-school club format.
5 How do I enrol my child?
Parents can enrol online at ajstudio.online or book directly with the school.
What is included in the programme fee?
The fee covers all materials, instruction by experienced STEAM educators from AJ Studio, weekly parent updates summarising student learning, and access to additional learning content on AJ Studio’s website after registration.
What if my child misses a lesson?
If a student misses a session, they will still have access to comprehensive online learning materials through AJ Studio’s website. This includes step-by-step video tutorials, interactive quizzes, downloadable resources, and guided instructions so they can catch up on what they missed. Parents can review the content with their child at home to ensure they stay engaged.
Can parents observe the sessions?
Yes, parents are welcome to observe the open classroom portion of the session from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
Where do I pick up my child?
Parents must pick up their child from the PLC Room at 5:30 PM.
