What makes something more than a machine, more than a design, what makes it iconic? This term in Super Lab, we explore how identity can be built not through drawing, but through systems, behaviours, and invention.
We’ll begin by asking: Can code hold personality? Can structure suggest character? Whether through robotics, crafted prototypes, or interactive systems, we’ll investigate how rules and responses can turn an object into something that feels alive.
Open to learners aged 9 to16, Lab 601™ is designed for those who want to merge creativity with coding, craft, and innovation. Enrolment in the Art programme isn’t required, though the two pair powerfully for students who want to explore identity across both sculpture and system.
