Art 101™
Ten Famous Masters You Must Know

Ages 3.5-5

20 Apr-04 Jul

10-11 Lessons

You may have heard of Van Gogh, but who is Mary Cassatt? You may have seen the Mona Lisa, but have you ever made a portrait of your own? In this beginner course, we will meet 10 unforgettable artists and create our own artworks inspired by them. Along the way, we will explore basic shapes, colour, texture, and different art materials as we learn how artists turn ideas into pictures. This course is designed for children aged 3.5 to 5.5 who are just beginning their art journey. Parental assistance is strongly recommended but not compulsory.

Frequently asked questions
1 What happens if my child misses a programme?
If your child feels unwell, keep them at home and reschedule for another day. If well enough, they can join online via our website, but please do give the Studio at least 8 hours prior to the start of your session to arrange this. Catch-up lessons are subject to availability within the enrolled period. Unused credit cannot be carried over to the next term or future programmes.
2 What is your refund policy?
We cannot offer refunds if you change your mind. In the event of Covid-19 restrictions or similar situations beyond our control, workshops will continue online. No refunds will be issued if you choose not to participate in in-person lessons and online session options.
3 What do I need to bring to class?
If you are joining the workshop in person, just bring your lovely self! Please bring your own art pack for Clever Canvas™, Sketchbook Challenge™ and Super Matisse™ lessons. If you are joining online, great! Ensure your device is fully charged, and check with your tutor beforehand about what supplies you may need to prepare.
4 Which class should I join?
Our programmes cater to students aged 3.5 to 15, offering personalised support based on age and skill level. Small class sizes ensure focused learning. We recommend booking a day and time that fits your family schedule or aligns with your child's interests and skill level for the best experience.
5 Can I try the class before enrolling the the whole term?
Yes! Simply hit the book a trial button, pay for the trial lesson then turn up at a time of your choice. Introduce yourself and make yourself at home!
