What’s inside your box of treasures? A marble that glitters in the sunlight? A toy car with chipped paint? Or perhaps a seashell collected on a long-forgotten holiday? The objects we treasure tell the stories of who we are, sparking memories of laughter, wonder, and curiosity.
In this nostalgic and imaginative module, you’ll dive into the art of capturing these small wonders on paper. From sketching intricate details of trinkets to designing whimsical keepsake boxes, you’ll explore the textures, forms, and emotional connections that make each item unique. You’ll also learn essential techniques like shading, perspective, and composition to bring your sketches to life.
This course is designed for students aged 9 to 16, promoting self-guided learning without the need for parental supervision. All students are required to bring their own supplies; however, starter packs are conveniently available for purchase directly from the studio.
