Once upon a time… there was a potato.
In Once Upon a Potato, we take an ordinary object and treat it as the beginning of a story. We slow down, look closely, and imagine what kind of character a potato might be, where it comes from, and how its story might unfold over time.
In the morning, we will make art by creating potato portraits, inspired by the idea of a self-portrait. We will observe shape, texture, and detail, and think about how personality and identity can be expressed through creative choices.
In the afternoon, we move into coding with a science-inspired lens. We will explore the life cycle of a potato, using digital sequences to show growth, change, and progression.
This session brings together art, storytelling, science, and technology. Together, we discover that creativity often begins with careful observation and the willingness to imagine that everything has a story worth telling.
Whether you're an early bird or an afternoon explorer, we've got you covered! select am or pm sessions to book- it's that simple!
