“What do you mean it’s a lot of money? I shall have ten of the latest Xboxes. Of course I have cash. And yes, please bring that delicious handmade ice cream with 24k gold on a golden platter for me to enjoy.” Because, lo and behold, I’m a future billionaire and I’m very good at buying.

Sounds fun? Absolutely. Diary of a Future Billionaire is designed for curious, business-savvy kids who dream big and think creatively. And no, it’s not really about money. It’s about imagination, creativity, work ethic, and understanding how ideas grow over time.

In the morning, we will make our brilliant art, billionaire style. We’ll design bold, expressive artworks that reflect big ideas and ambitious dreams. Think gold markers, rich colours, gems, and confident design choices. Nothing short of billionaire standards. After all, big ideas deserve decent investment. But we’ll also talk about another kind of investment too. Focus. Patience. Taking risks with ideas. Those are things you can’t buy, even if you were a billionaire.

In the afternoon, we take our grand business plans into coding. Ka-ching. We’ll explore simple logic and digital systems that help us organise, sequence, and test our ideas. By experimenting with code, we begin to see how structure, decision-making, and persistence all play a role in turning ideas into something real.

Please pack a lunch, morning and afternoon tea, and a drink bottle for your child. AJ Studio is a nut-free space. The timetable is a guide only, as some projects may take longer or wrap up sooner. We may also adjust the schedule if needed.

Each program is built on brand new learning material, so we won’t have sample artworks until after the class. The images shown are just examples to give you a feel for the theme of the day. If you’d like to know more, please get in touch with the studio, we’re happy to help.

You can book online, or contact us to book by phone or message. If you book manually, we will send you an invoice. All bookings must be paid by the due date. Places are not held until payment is received.

If you cancel more than 14 days before the programme starts, we usually offer a credit for a future AJ Studio holiday programme. Refunds may be considered in some cases, but credits are preferred.

If you cancel within 14 days of the programme start date, we are unable to offer refunds. In some situations, a credit may be offered.

Credits are valid for the next two upcoming holiday programmes, for the same programme type and location, and are subject to availability.

Yes, if you let us know at least 24 hours in advance and if there is space available. A 15 dollar admin fee applies for each day changed.

If you booked a multi-day or weekly package and change any days, the package rate no longer applies and days are recalculated at the individual daily rate.

Example:

If you book a 5-day package at a discounted rate and later change two of the five days, the weekly package no longer applies. All five days are recalculated at the daily rate, and a 15 dollar admin fee applies for each day changed (for example, two changed days equals 30 dollars).

All changes are subject to availability and must be confirmed by payment.

We don’t offer refunds for missed days. In some cases, with supporting documentation, we may offer a credit for a future holiday programme, subject to availability.

Children are dropped off and picked up during our advertised programme hours.

Pick-up is by parents or legal guardians unless you email us in advance to authorise someone else to collect your child.

Late pick-up is charged at 25 dollars per hour, calculated in 15-minute increments. This helps cover staff time when programmes run beyond scheduled hours.

Yes, all our holiday programmes are nut-free. Please do not pack any nut or nut-containing products.

Please bring lunch, a water bottle, and any items listed for the programme, if applicable. Toys are allowed, but we recommend leaving favourite items, valuables, and devices at home.

We sometimes take photos or short videos during programmes to document and share our work. You’ll be asked about consent when booking, and you can opt out at any time by emailing us.
